The present invention provides a system and method for Active Front Wheel Steering, AFWS actuation adapted for use in armored vehicles including an on board mounted fire-arm to provide active front wheel steering during firing of said on board mounted fire-arm, while said armored vehicle is on the move, comprising an Electronic Control Unit, ECU that is in electronic data communication with a plurality of input transducers and an Active Front Wheel Steering and an AFWS actuator comprising a servo motor, the ECU is configured to process a plurality of electronic signals provided by said plurality of input transducers , to actuate steering correction via the AFWS actuator.
