Description
A novel double stage diversity that combines angle diversity and 4 linear polarization (called X-polarized) was applied in this wireless MIMO communication system. The 4x4 wireless MIMO system was set up using X-polarized directional antenna at 2.4 GHz. The channel capacity of the system has improved compared to a typical MIMO system or a single stage MIMO system.
