Description
Suspension test system testing unit is special equipment used by R&D engineers to measure, analysis, evaluate the performance ant type of vehicle suspension damper. Data taken from this testing equipment are important for engineers to optimization and durability characteristics of automotive suspension designs, typically before a complete vehicle prototype is available for testing. Testing the real suspension system using the machine can reduce overall cost, development time as well as testing risk. A vehicle mass simulation fixture provides realistic loads for the suspension eliminating the need to have a vehicle available. The suspension test system rig uses slide-crank mechanism driven by AC motor to introduce forces and motions into the suspension. The new suspension testing machine operates with fully mechanical function resultant more accurate in obtaining data due to slider-crank input and lower cost in overall product development.
