A system for automatically alerting driver of a vehicle of close proximity of another vehicle is provided, the system includes a distance sensor positionable such that the distance sensor is directed towards a vehicle in front of presently driven vehicle, a speed sensor positionable such that the speed sensor is directed towards a vehicle in front of presently driven vehicle, a road condition sensor positionable on the presently driven vehicle, therein the sensors are positionable on body of the presently driven vehicle, in connection with an input means, and display positioned within driver’s sight in connection with processor unit and an alarm, wherein the alarm is activatable when the presently driven vehicle approaches or is being approached by another vehicle within a critical unsafe gap.
