Description
There is disclosed a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) accelerometer for vibration detection. The FBG accelerometer comprises a sensing means and a magnetic damping means. The sensing means of the FBG accelerometer further comprises a FBG sensor and an optical fiber. The magnetic damping means of the FBG accelerometer further comprises a cantilever beam, at least two permanent magnets, at least one damping plate, a base and a support column.
