The present invention discloses a double safety locking assembly for a sniper rifle that comprises a rifle trigger pivotal about a first pivot comprising a trigger shoe and opposing arms with a pointing end; a firing pin pivotal about a second pivot comprising an end effector to abut an actuator of a bolt carrier and a lever arm that comprises a groove which complementarily engages by the pointing end of one of the opposing arms thereby releasing the end effector from engagement with the actuator; a first switch member coupled to a third pivot having a first slot locking groove formed thereon for locking and unlocking the firing pin as the third pivot rotates; and a second switch member coupled to a fourth pivot having a second slot locking groove formed thereon for locking and unlocking the rifle trigger as the fourth pivot rotates.
