During a blood donation drive it is difficult for a staff nurse to monitor five donors simultaneously, which may increase the percentage of the blood exceeding the stipulated volume. This smart blood scale is invented to assist blood collection where the nurse will not be required to stand near the donor to monitor the blood volume continuously. This smart blood scale will alert the nurse that the amount of blood collected is nearly full by a buzzer. It will also show a flashing LED placed at the blood scale. A tower light is placed next to the bed so the nurse can view the blood level from a distance. This system will help reduce manpower in a blood donation drive.
