This project is about the Signal Indicator For Home Appliances Control using the conventional telephone line whether by normal phone or the laptop. The application will enable the user to control any electrical appliance at home regardless they are in ON state or OFF state. The big part of the project will be the programming and the circuit design itself. This application will be interfaced to the circuit that is directly connected to the appliances power chord. This system uses Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) technology. This IC takes DTMF signal coming via telephone line and converts that signal into respective BCD number. The system is cheap, easy to use the only requires small modification to the home appliances.
