The present invention relates to a control system for a laser diode. The control system comprising a remote device configured for displaying status of the laser diode and an error occurring in the circuit of the laser diode, and controlling the parameter of the laser diode according to an input received from a user; a controller configured for managing power supplied to the laser diode according to an output signal received from the remote device, operating the laser diode by generating a control signal, and providing an overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, and temperature protection for the laser diode; and a supply module configured for powering the laser diode and remote device. The control system further comprising a connecting module configured for wirelessly connecting the controller to the remote device.
