The present invention relates to a device for providing data for predicting input current on an impact loading application. The device may be characterized by a linear variable displacement transformer, LVDT, an impact pendulum test rig, a magneto-rheological elastomer, MRE, isolator device, a data acquisition unit and a computing unit. The device provides a characteristic modeling an accurate input current data simulation analysis under impact loading using an impact pendulum test. The device may reduce the testing time on actual application and reduces testing cost.
