The invention provides a vane type rotary compressor assembly , comprising a sleeve having an inner sleeve surface and an outer sleeve surface, the inner sleeve surface defining a hollow sleeve space, a compressor rotor having a primary slot extending radially inwards from an outer compressor rotor surface towards a compressor rotor axis, a primary vane embedded in the sleeve and extending towards the compressor rotor axis inside the hollow sleeve space, wherein the primary vane is slidably provided inside the primary slot and an electric motor having a motor rotor, the motor rotor being a hollow motor rotor having an inner motor rotor surface defining a hollow motor rotor space, wherein the sleeve is coaxially attached with the motor rotor, inside the hollow motor rotor space.
