Description
The present invention relates to thermostable suppository base formed from the mixture of palm oil and palm kernel oil. This suppository base is _robust when subjected to extreme temperature changes. This allows a larger melting, range front 45-60_?c during suppository preparation stage. The thermostable suppository bases formed from the mixture of palm oil and palm kernel oil were found to contain between 70 to 85% fatty acid of the lauric type (c 1 2)
