A method for malware detection in android based communication device comprising the steps of installing the malware detection application on android based communication device; identifying the set of all the android application installed over the communication device; examining internet connection over the communication device; running the malware detection application after selecting the mode of analysis; extracting essential features of applications; treating the extracted essential features with algorithms for detection purpose; identifying the infected applications.
