Description
The present invention relates to a method of producing a composition having anticancer properties, the method comprising steps of forming an intermediate carbamate linkage compound by reacting glucose with 1,1-carbonyldiimidazole; purifying the intermediate carbamate linkage compound; forming a stable carbamate linkage compound by reacting the purified intermediate carbamate linkage compound with ethylenediamine; purifying the stable carbamate linkage compound; forming a D-glucose-anticancer conjugate by reacting the purified stable carbamate linkage compound with a mixture comprising an active component derived from Piper betle; chlorogenic acid, methanol and laccase solution; and purifying the D-glucose-anticancer conjugate, an anticancer composition produced by the method thereof, a method of delivering the anticancer composition and a use of the anticancer composition thereof. The composition targets cancer cells.
