The present invention discloses a phytoremediation decision support system which is able to evaluate the potential of selected phytoremediator plants performance. The phytoremediation decision support system comprises an authentication unit; a plant classification unit; a wastewater selection unit; a kinetics unit; a relative growth rate, RGR unit; a bioconcentration factor, BCF unit; a translocation factor, TF unit; a data summary display unit; and a result display unit. In addition, the present invention also serves as an interactive portal where users are able to learn the scientific classification and for researcher, it serves as a decision making platform to select the plant and evaluate the phytoremediation perfonnance efficiently.
