The present invention relates to a limb prosthesis suspension system, comprising: a liner for receiving a limb; a socket coupled to the liner; and characterized by: the socket including an open end for receiving the liner; and an aperture on a side of said socket; a socket enclosure including a cap covering the aperture of the socket; and a strap affixed to the cap for securing said cap and said socket in position; and wherein the liner and the cap are provided with complementary male and female fastening elements.
