Description
A pharmaceutical composition for use in treating or preventing Chikungunya viral infection in a biological system, comprising an active compound of silymarin, wherein the treatment or prevention is achieved via inactivation of Chikungunya virus, inhibition of Chikungunya viral replication or inhibition of Chikungunya viral growth.
