The present invention relates to a biocompatible scaffold. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition of a filler of a scaffold and a scaffold thereof. Conventional scaffolds typically possess adequate structural properties for cell attachment for tissue growth. However, such structural properties tend to ignore elasticity or flexibility factor. The present invention discloses a composition for use in a scaffold, characterized in that, the composition is a biocompatible brass filler comprising 90 % copper and 10% zinc, whereby the biocompatible brass filler is implantable between loose fiber layer and dense fiber layer of the scaffold. The present invention also discloses an orthotropic scaffold having the biocompatible brass filler.
