The invention provides a scoliosis assessment system comprising one or more scoliosis assessment devices where users obtain raw scoliosis data that includes shoulder height difference, angle of trunk rotation, or hump height difference, or any combination thereof from patients, a data analysis station for generating an analysed scoliosis data dataset, a trend prediction data, their graphical representations, or any combination thereof, based on the raw scoliosis data received from the device, and one or more end-user devices for the analysed scoliosis data dataset, a trend prediction data, their graphical representations, or any combination thereof, to be displayed thereon. The device includes a transceiver module for establishing a communication channel for transmission of the raw scoliosis data to the data analysis station.
