The present invention relates to a development of molecular diagnostic test for detection and quantification of Chikungunya virus CHIKV). Specifically, the invention suggests furnishing high sensitivity and comprising steps of detecting and quantification of CHlKV. The detection method includes picking up genomic of CHIKV, and that is able to provide detection and quantification of targeted region(s) using real time Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR).
