The present invention describes a method of producing in vitro flowers of plants, which comprises the steps of: a) producing in vitro plantlets through explant cultures on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media, optionally with plant hormones, and of b) inducing in vitro flowers on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media, optionally ,with plant hormones, characterized in that: the Murashige and Skoog (MS) media in step a) contains mineral salts, sucrose, agarose technical, and at least one active principle selected from 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) and auxin (NAA); the Murashige and Skoog (MS) media in step b) contains mineral salts, sucrose, agarose technical, and at least one active principle selected from gibberellic acid GA3 and zeatin; wherein the explant is a shoot tip of Ocimum bacilicum, Phlox paniculata or Celosia cristata; such that: i) the in vitro plantlets are being produced through somatic embryo genesis or direct regeneration from small pieces of the plant shoot tip tissues, wherein the tissue culture of shoot tip explants is performed on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media which consists of the combination of 4.4 g/L MS medium, 30 g/L sucrose, 8 g/L agarose technical, and at least one active principle optionally selected from plant hormones of 0.5 to 2.0 mg/L auxin (NAA) and 0.5 to 2.0 mg/L 6- benzylaminopurine (BAP); and ii) the in vitro flowers is being introduced by carrying out through transfer of the resulting in vitro plantlets from tissue culture of shoot tip explants to flower induction media, wherein the flower induction media consists of the combination of 4.4 g/L MS medium, 30 g/L sucrose, 8 g/L agarose technical, and at least one active principle optionally selected from plant hom1ones of gibberellic acid (GA3) and zeatin.
