Description
An antimicrobial composition effective against Acinetobacter baumannii infecting a subject comprising a mixture of carbapenem-based antibiotic and quercetin. Preferably, the carbapenem-based antibiotic is imipenem, meropenem, ertapenem, doripenem, panipenem/betamipron and/or biapenem. The carbapenem-based antibiotic and quercetin show a synergistic antibacterial effect against Acinetobacter spp.
