A potable water filtration device for emergency use to provide clean drinking water is invented. This potable water filtration device is in conical shape and consistes of inner cap, conical section and bottom rim. Filter media consists of cellulose paper is positioned between inner cap and conical section. The raw water is pour through the pores of inner cap and filter media and filtered by flow of gravity. The filtered water go through integral sleeve to bottom rim with mesh and can be collected by any type of container. Thus, this invention provides an easy to use local made water filtration device as a basis to obtain clean drinking water as well as easy to assemble and user friendly device with fast filtration process.
