The present innovation relates to a high protein fish feed comprising 15 to 25% of chicken intestine meal; 20 to 40% of distillers dried grain (DDG) powder or soybean meal; 20 to 40% of rice bran; 10 to 30% of cassava meal or wheat flour; 0.5 to 3.0% of palm oil or fish oil; 0.5 to 5.0% of dicalcium phosphate; 0.1 to 3.0% of premix vitamin; and 0.1 to 5.0% of premix mineral. Advantageously, the formulated fish feed is cost effective, nutritionally balanced, hygienic and free from harmful bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella sp.
