Description

The present invention relates to fabrication of electrochemical immunosensor for clenbuterol detection in blood, tissue, milk and urine. The current technology uses high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that require specialised personnel to operate the instruments whereby the detection may be inaccurate if the methods are not properly conducted. The developed clenbuterol sensor is a simple screen-printed electrode that has high sensitivity, selectivity, reproducibility and comaprable storage stability.
