The present invention disclosed a lipid nanoparticles carrier formulation to encapsulate mangostin compounds for better anticancer property. The lipid nanoparticles carrier formulation consists of 50 to 80 wt% of stearic acid and 20 to 50 wt% of oleic acid as the raw material of lipid nanoparticles to encapsulate the mangostin compounds and 0.25 to 2.0 wt% non-ionic surfactant to stabilize the lipid nanoparticles. In a specific embodiment, the mangostin compounds can be generally represented by Molecular Formula (1) or its pharmaceutical acceptable salts, prodrug and solvates thereof. Besides, the present invention also disclosed mangostin compounds loaded lipid nanoparticles and a method of making the same.
