Standardized Cosmos powder was developed based on scientific findings since 2010 from intensive and multidisciplinary researches on Cosmos caudatus leaf. The best seed quality, optimum leaf maturity, planting method and processing procedures were identified in order to produce the best powder with high stability and efficacy towards antioxidant and antidiabetic activities. Both efficacy and safety of the product were tested using in vitro, in vivo and human studies. Cosmos powder is so convenient that it can be commercialized as valuable ingredient in many functional food products such as natural condiment, ice-cream, tea and many more.
